Winter Has Arrived in Colorado

Colorado’s Loveland Ski Area is the first ski resort to open this year with its earliest opening date in 40 years. Loveland opened last Wednesday, October 7, 2009, with an 18-inch base. Arapahoe Basin followed shortly after with their earliest opening day ever on Friday, October 9, 2009.
