Norris Hot Springs – Soaking to Live Music Near Bozeman, Montana
Posted on 19. Jan, 2010 by Dirtbag in Adventures, Hot Springs, Montana, The Road
Norris Hot Springs, Water of the Gods is a trippy little commercial hot spring about a half hours drive outside of Bozeman, Montana. The 30 x 40 foot pool was super clean and the perfect temperature for soaking in the winter – 106 degrees F. Wood planks line the pool and the artesian spring bubbles up right through the planks and into the pool.
The poolside bar offers up a bunch of microbrews and organic wines including Montana’s very own Ten Spoon wines as well as sodas, juices, coffees, and MIMOSAS. Their All Local Foods Grill serves up some seriously tasty salads, soups, and sweets made with produce grown on site or by nearby farms.
Water of the Gods features live folk, bluegrass, acoustic rock, and Americana music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night (even throughout the winter months). Bands play right above the stage in their igloo looking dome stage complete with splashguard. Music starts at 7 and entrance to the pool runs $7 ($5 during the day sans tunes). Designated drivers get a free soak pass. Check out their upcoming music lineup.
